First IT Park opens in Tajikistan

On April 7, 2025, Tajikistan’s inaugural IT Park — the “Technological park of software products and information technologies in Dushanbe” — officially opened its doors in the capital. The park’s primary mission is to promote the development of information technologies and support the growth of digital entrepreneurship.

The opening ceremony was attended by His Excellency Rustam Emomali, Chairman of the Majlisi Milli of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan and Mayor of Dushanbe, who delivered a keynote address at the event, which is being held as part of the “ICT WEEK-2025” exhibition.

This landmark project represents a significant step toward the growth of the country’s digital economy and will provide substantial support to young people and entrepreneurs in the tech industry. The IT park offers startups and IT companies unique opportunities to operate in a cutting-edge digital environment, boosting their competitiveness and facilitating the introduction of innovative digital products to a wider market.
