Agency of Innovation and Digital Technologies Expands Cooperation with SpaceX/Starlink

The Agency of Innovation and Digital Technologies under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan held an online working meeting with the SpaceX/Starlink team. During the meeting, the parties discussed the prospects for expanding cooperation following the official launch of the Starlink service in the Republic of Tajikistan.

 

The Agency presented a draft Roadmap for Cooperation, outlining the use of satellite internet to support healthcare and educational institutions, enhance the delivery of public services, provide connectivity for government institutions in remote areas, facilitate the adoption of artificial intelligence technologies, advance digital mapping, and develop environmentally sustainable ("green") computing infrastructure.

 

At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties agreed to continue their joint efforts on the development and implementation of the Roadmap, emphasizing that the launch of Starlink in Tajikistan marks an important milestone and provides a solid foundation for building a long-term strategic technology partnership.
