Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan
The Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan is the central executive authority of the Republic of Tajikistan responsible for the development and implementation of State policy and regulation of legal norms in the field of education. The Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan carries out its activities in accordance with the Constitution of the Republic of Tajikistan, constitutional laws of the Republic of Tajikistan, laws of the Republic of Tajikistan, decrees of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, regulations of the rights of the Republic of Tajikistan, Majlisi Namoyandagon and Majlisi Milli Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, international legal acts recognized by the Republic of Tajikistan.

On December 14, 1924, the Commissariat of Public Education of the Tajik SSR was established, which began its business on February 11, 1925 in the city of Dushanbe. The Commissariat of Public Education was then transferred to the Ministry of Public Education of the Tajik SSR (1946-1978: 1988-1992), the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Tajik SSR (1978-88). In 1992, he was transferred to the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Tajikistan. On November 19, 2013, the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Tajikistan was transformed into the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan, and it was established that issues related to the promotion of scientific policy would be removed from the scope of the full-scale Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tajikistan and transferred to this Ministry.
