Establishment, Structure, Tasks and Activities of the Scientific Center for Innovative Technologies and Agricultural Mechanization
The Center was established based on the Government decision dated July 27, 2015, and related acts of the Academy of Agricultural Sciences .
It was later renamed and reorganized, receiving its current name in 2020.
The Center operates in accordance with the Constitution, national legislation, its charter, and international legal acts.
Structure
The Center includes four scientific departments:
- mechanization department
- machinery systems, information and advisory department
- technical diagnostics and maintenance department
- design, science and education department
It employs 26 staff members, including 12 researchers.
Main tasks
- development of technical infrastructure for agriculture
- efficient use of scientific resources
- development of new technologies and machinery
- training of highly qualified personnel
Activities
- implementation of government policies
- development of agricultural engineering programs
- research and design work
- production and introduction of new machinery
- technical services to farms
- educational programs
Cooperation
The Center cooperates with key ministries of Tajikistan.
Strategic contribution
The Center supports national strategies in science, agriculture, and digitalization.
