Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Republic of Tajikistan

The Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Tajikistan (hereinafter - the Ministry) is the central body of the executive power of the Republic of Tajikistan, which is responsible for the development and implementation of a unified state policy and regulation of legal norms of activity in the field of health protection and social protection of the population.

2. In its activities, the Ministry is guided by the Constitution of the Republic of Tajikistan, constitutional laws of the Republic of Tajikistan, laws of the Republic of Tajikistan, acts of the National Assembly and the Assembly of Representatives of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Tajikistan, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, international legal instruments recognized by Tajikistan and this Regulation.

3. The Ministry, relevant units of local executive bodies of state power and ministries (ministries) of the republic form a single system of state administration, which ensures the implementation of a single state policy in the field of health protection and social protection of the population.

4. The Ministry shall coordinate the activities of other ministries and departments of the republic, enterprises and organizations, regardless of the form of ownership and subordination of the departments, as well as local executive bodies of state power in matters within its competence.

5. Standards, regulations, norms and standards in the field of health and social protection of the population, developed and approved by the Ministry in accordance with the established procedure, are mandatory for the performance of all ministries and departments of the Republic of Tajikistan, local executive bodies of state power, enterprises, institutions and organizations, regardless of the form of ownership and subordination of the department, as well as natural persons.
