Climate Dialogue for Youth

In the conference hall of the Atlas Hotel, at the initiative of the Public Organization “Youth Ecological Center” and with the support of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, a training event entitled “Climate Dialogue for Youth” was held.

With participation from government authorities, the Deputy Head of the Main Department for Environmental Protection in the city of Dushanbe, Sa’dullo Saburzoda, delivered the opening remarks, noting that climate change is currently one of the global challenges of modern society and has become a concern for all countries around the world.

Representatives from the cities of Hisor and Vahdat, as well as from the districts of Dusti and Jaihun, took part in the training event.

As representatives of the Public Organization “Youth Ecological Center” stated during the event, the goal of the project is to raise public awareness, especially among residents of the above-mentioned cities and districts, so that young people, by increasing their environmental awareness and gaining more information, can influence the process of climate change.

It was noted that climate change affects all sectors, including agriculture, public health, flora and fauna, and that failure to take effective measures poses a threat to human life.

Of course, young people should play an important role in this area and use modern technologies in the implementation of their goals.
