National museum Tajikistan

The State Institution “National Museum” of the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan was established in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan dated July 27, 2011, No. 1094. Its total area is 24,000 m², of which 15,000 m² are allocated for exhibitions. The museum has 22 exhibition halls, showcasing the finest works of ancestors that reflect the history and civilization of the Tajik people.

The National Museum has four exhibition departments for visitors: the Department of Nature, the Department of Ancient and Medieval History, the Department of Modern and Contemporary History, and the Department of Fine and Applied Arts.
