Republican Scientific Research Center for Sericulture of the Academy of Agricultural Sciences of Tajikistan

This center has a long history. For the first time in 1978, a sericulture group was established under the Scientific Research Institute of Crop Production. Based on this, in 1983, the sericulture department was created at the Regional Experimental Station of the Leninabad Rural Economy of the Crop Production Institute.

Later, in 1996, the Experimental Sericulture Station was established under the Crop Production Institute, and in 2017 it was included as the Republican Experimental Sericulture Station within the Academy of Agricultural Sciences of Tajikistan. By the resolution of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan dated August 31, 2020, No. 487, it was named the Republican Scientific Research Center of Sericulture of the Academy of Agricultural Sciences of Tajikistan.
