Meeting of the Director of the Agency for export under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Tajikistan

On December 5, 2025, a meeting was held between the Director of the Agency for export under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, Sirojiddinzoda Bahriddin, and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Tajikistan, Alireza Haqiqian.

During the meeting, the Director of the Agency for export emphasized that the relations between Tajikistan and Iran, which are directly based on the wise and farsighted policy of the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, are at a high level.

The parties paid special attention to the current state and prospects of bilateral relations, including enhancing export capacity, strengthening trade and economic ties, establishing logistics centers and joint enterprises for processing agricultural products, exporting cotton fiber, as well as opening a representative office of the Agency for export in Tehran.

In addition, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran provided detailed information on strengthening trade turnover between the parties, noting that in recent years both countries have been striving to create favorable conditions for the development of trade and economic relations.

Overall, the meeting was held in an atmosphere of mutual understanding, and the parties emphasized the importance of further strengthening cooperation.
