Meeting of the Director of the Agency for export under the government of the Republic of Tajikistan with the ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Tajikistan

On March 18, 2025 a meeting was held between the Director of the Agency for export under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan Bahriddin Sirojiddinzoda and the Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Tajikistan Valikhan Turekhanov.

During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the current state and prospects of bilateral cooperation.

Bahriddin Sirojiddinzoda noted that, according to the instructions of the leadership of both countries, the planned trade turnover between the countries should be brought to 2 billion dollars. In this regard, we need to take concrete measures to increase mutual trade turnover.

The parties also discussed the possibilities of cooperation in the field of export of early onions, aluminum, cotton and dried fruits to the markets of Kazakhstan.

Also, the parties discussed the issue of activating the activities of the Tajik-Kazakh joint venture «Trade and Investment Company «KazTrade Tajikistan».

In conclusion, the parties agreed to continue the cooperation process and take specific measures for the practical implementation of the proposed initiatives.
