The Committee for Primary and Secondary Vocational Education under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan (hereinafter referred to as the Committee) is a central executive body of state authority that implements a unified state policy in the field of primary and secondary vocational education, training and upbringing, scientific and technical and production activities, vocational training, as well as support and social protection of pupils, trainees, learners, students, and other participants of institutions of primary and secondary vocational education.
The Committee, as an authorized state body, manages the field of primary and secondary vocational education, ensures the organization of the educational process in accordance with state standards of primary and secondary vocational education in educational institutions regardless of their organizational-legal form and form of ownership, and also directly and in cooperation with other ministries and agencies, local executive bodies of state authority, public associations, and other organizations coordinates and supervises the activities of institutions of primary and secondary vocational education.
In its activities, the Committee is guided by the Constitution of the Republic of Tajikistan, other normative legal acts of the Republic of Tajikistan, as well as international legal acts recognized by Tajikistan, and the Regulation on the Committee for Primary and Secondary Vocational Education under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan (hereinafter referred to as the Regulation).
The unified system of bodies of primary and secondary vocational education consists of the central office and the list of organizations within the Committee’s system, approved by the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The relations of the Committee with individuals and legal entities are carried out on the basis of agreements and normative legal acts of the Republic of Tajikistan.
