TEMURMALIK DISTRICT (FORMERLY SOVET, QIZILMAZOR)
Named in 2004 after the People’s Hero of Tajikistan, Temurmalik.
Temurmalik, in his time, fought to defend his homeland, battled the Mongol armies, and even defeated their forces (the Chinggisids)!
