The consumer cooperation of Tajikistan, the Union “Tojikmatlubot,” enjoys significant state support under cooperative legislation.
In 1992, the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On Consumer Cooperation in the Republic of Tajikistan” was re-adopted. Amendments and additions were introduced to this law, adopted on March 13, 1992, in 1995, 2005, and 2008. According to Article 7 of this law, the State guarantees the protection of the legal interests of consumer cooperation and its members, as well as the property rights of consumer cooperation. The property of consumer cooperation is inaccessible to others.
The Union “Tojikmatlubot” is a member of the Association of the League of National (Republican) Cooperative Organizations of the CIS countries and the International Cooperative Alliance.
Within the administrative center of the sector, there are a canteen, teahouse, restaurant, hotel, health recovery complex, and a supermarket operating.
The Union of Tojikmatlubot is interested in establishing mutual trade relations with all organizations and institutions, individuals, private entrepreneurs of CIS countries and other states.
Our relations are primarily aimed at developing trade cooperation between consumer unions of CIS countries and entrepreneurs of neighboring states such as the Islamic Republic of Iran, China, the Islamic Republics of Afghanistan and Pakistan, as well as other countries.
The consumer cooperation of Tajikistan has always supported good cooperative relations with all cooperators of CIS countries and possesses the necessary resources and capabilities for this purpose.
