The Majlisi Namoyandagon of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan

     The Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, which previously operated as the Supreme Council of the TSR, has an almost 90-year history. It should be noted that the first convocation of the Supreme Council of the TSR was put into effect in 1938. The path traversed by the Supreme Representative Body and the legislator from the first convocation (1938) to the seventh convocation of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan (2025-2030) is tortuous, has different meanings, features and stages.  If we look a little at the state system and the history of our people, we will see that the norms of law, morality and morality have never been alien to our people. It is worth noting that the professional legislative body in the form in which it functions in the world today is a relatively new phenomenon that has emerged over the past few centuries.

     It should be noted that one of the colorful pages of the development of the Tajik legislature is the holding of the historic 16th session of the Supreme Council on November 16, 1992 in Khujand, Boston, at which the esteemed Emomali Rahmon was elected Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Tajikistan.

     The future fate of the independent State of Tajikistan, the real provision of the rule of law, the stability of law and order, and the effective operation of law enforcement agencies largely depended on the decisions of the XVI historic session of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Tajikistan.
